Sales Engineer/Business Developer

As a Sales Engineer/ Business Developer, your role is to generate and handle new customer inquiries and maintain relationships with existing customers. You identify new opportunities in the market and you communicate the value of our services to drive sales. You work with the technical department to win the project, attracting your client with effective marketing, and persuading them with a clever concept and a good proposal. You are involved in contributing to the preliminary design and giving advice, technical support at the beginning of projects to customersTo be successful in this role, you should have:
• Initiate new and maintain existing TSQ’s client relations.
• Spot opportunities and secure new projects.
• Conduct market research and initiate marketing campaigns with the team to generate and identify new leads and opportunities.
• Schedule and conduct meetings with prospects, present our value proposition, provide technical insights and advice, and give product demonstrations to customers.
• You have excellent skills in communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal relations, and you enjoy engaging with customers in a commercial setting
• Strong analytical skills and technical knowledge of the offshore wind sector, and the ability to advise clients on customized (technical) solutions, challenges, and opportunities.
• You speak good English in addition to Dutch
• An EU passport/valid work permit for the Netherlands;
• Technical education such as Mechanical Engineering, Technical Business Administration, or similar
• 5 years of experience in a technical role, sales, business development, or account management in the offshore wind industry or a similar technical field
• A self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented attitudeWe offer
